(All of these directions are from the starting position)

Heart Containers: They add an extra heart to your life.

- Go right 4 screens - On the wall left of the passage going up put a bomb near the corner to open a cave where you can get a heart container.
- Go right 1, up 5, and right 4 - Bomb the right side of the big rock in the middle of the screen.
-Go up 1, left 2, up 1, right 1, up 1, right 1 - use the candle on the 5th bush from the right.
-Go right 8, up 5 you need the raft, you will go over some water, go in the structure you find on the island.
-Go right 8, up 2 use the ladder to get over to the container.

Blue Ring: It reduces your damage you take by half! It can be bought at: up 1, left 3, and up 3 from start. Look under the top middle statue. (This is also where you buy the meat for level 7)

White Sword: This sword is the middle level sword in the game. You get it from the man on top of the waterfall when you have at least 5 hearts or more.
To get it, from start go - up 1, left 2, up 1, right 1, up 1, right 2, up 2, left 1, up 1, right 3, up 1 and into the cave you find.

Power Bracelet: It makes it so you can move heavy things. From start go up 1, left 2, up 1, right 1, up 1, right 2, up 2, left 2, down 1, left 1, up 1, left 1. It is under the top right statue on this screen. (BTW you need a ladder to get here)

Magical Sword: The most powerful sword in the game! You need the Power Bracelet to get it and you need to have at least 12 hearts. To get it from start go up 1, left 2, up 1, right 1, up 1, right 2, up 2, left 2, down 1, left 1, up 1, left 2, down 1 left 2 and up 1. Push the gravestone in the 2nd row and the 3rd stone from the left.

Misc.:

Lost Woods: to get out go up 1, left 1, down 1, left 1

START:

First go into the cave on the screen you start in. Here you will get the sword from the old man. Now you can head to Level 1. To get there go: up 1, left 2, up 1, right 1, up 1, right 2, up 1, left 1 and go into the tree.

First, go to the room on the left and kill the bats in here, this gets you a key. Now go back into the first room and go right. Kill all of the skeletons in here for a second key. Now go back out left and then go up and up again. (You don't get anything for killing the skeletons in the previous room.) Now in this room kill the skeletons for a key. From here go right and get the compass. (You dont need to kill all of the keese a.k.a. bats in here, but it could help save a few hearts cause there are so many!) Now go back to the room you came from and go left and then up. In this room, if you kill the three Gels, little blobs, you can push the block on the left to go talk to the old man, but you don't need to. Now go right and get the map. After you have it go up and kill the skeletons to get a key continue up and kill the Goriyas that throw boomerangs at you for another key. Go left and in this room, watch out for the spikes and push down the left most block of the diamond to go down the stairs. Here you will find the bow! Congrads! The bow makes it so that you can fire arrows at your enemies, every arrow you fire costs 1 rupee. Now go back to the room where you got the map. (right 1, down 2) and from here go right and kill all of the Goriyas for another item the boomerang! This boomerang is short range, but it will bring items back to you and it will kill certain enemies (bats). Continue right, in here get the key but watch out for the hands, if they get you they will take you back to the beginning! Now go up to meet the boss of the first level.

Aquamentus is the boss of the first level. There are two ways to beat him either by using 2 bombs or you can hit him with a sword. Either way though, becareful, he shoots balls out at you! Collect the heart container for beating him and advance right to get your first piece of the Triforce!

Back to the Overworld:

Make sure you are saving up your rupees! Here are some items you'll need soon! Candle, it lights up dark rooms you can see in, it will also burn up certain bushes. You need this by Level 4 but the sooner the better. It costs 60 rupees at most stores. You need arrows by Level 6 so you can kill the boss in that level. Cause you can't use your bow until you buy arrows. They cost 70 rupees at most stores. The Blue Ring, it cuts your damage by half, the sooner you get it the better it helps out a lot in future levels. It costs 250 rupees and you can only get it at one store see Blue Ring at the top of this walkthru to see where you can buy it! Also, there are five heart containers hidden in the overworld of this game, i reconmend geting them all! See heart containers at the top of this walkthru. Without the candle you can get the first 2 containers, with it you can get the third one on the list.

From Level 1 - right 1, up 1, right 2, down 2, right 1, down 1, right 2, up 1, left 1, up 1
From Start - right 4, up 2, right 2, up 1, left 1, up 1

To start off, first go right and kill all of the Ropes to get a key. Once accomplished, go up and then in this room use a key in the door on the right to get the compass. Now go back out to the left and go left again, kill all of the Ropes in here and go through the door you open on the left. In here get the key and go 2 rooms to the right and then up one room and right another. From here you will find the map, get it and return to the room on your left. Go up and kill all of the Ropes in here for yet another key and then go right. Kill all of the blue boomerang enemies in here and pick up the magical boomerang! This is the same as the boomerang except it will fly much, much farther. Leave the room and then go up. Kill the Moldorm (which looks like a fireball chain snake) for a key. Now if you don't have any bombs go right and get them because you need them for the boss. Otherwise go up, kill all of the Ropes in here so you can continue up, then in the next room kill all of the boomerang throwers. Now you can go up, to Dodongo, the second level boss!

Dodongo can also be killed 2 differant ways. Either you can feed him 2 bombs or if you drop a bomb next to him, while he is blinking you can hit him with your sword. Collect your heart container and get your second piece of Triforce!

Back to the Overworld:

Now that you should have at least 5 heart containers you can go see the man on the waterfall and get the white sword!! (See how to above at the top of this walkthru)

From Level 2 - down 1, right 1, down 1, left 2, down 2, left 4, up 1, left 4, down 1, right 1
From Start - up 1, left 4, down 1, right 1

Start by going left, get the key. (I reconmend killing these blobs whenever you see them in any level becuase they usually always give rupees or life) Next go into the room above this one. In here kill all of the blobs to recieve another key. Now continue up, the red knights in here will give you bombs if you need them otherwise go left. Get the compass and then continue left. In this room kill all of the knights so the door is opened taking you down. In this room make your way to the stairs. These stairs lead you to the raft! The raft makes it possible for you to cross large bodies of water where there is a dock. Now go up 2 and get the key in this room and then go right. If you still need more bombs the bats in this room also give them up when defeated, then continue right. Kill the 3 blobs in here to get a key then go right. Get the map from this room and then go down. Kill the 3 red knights to open the door so you can continue on. Kill all of the enemies in this room so you can go to the boss!!

The boss of this level is Manhandla. To destroy him you have to cut off all of his heads. Two ways again to do this, you can either do it with your sword or you can use bombs. Either way is effective but the bombs will destory any heads in its range. Becareful though, he shoots balls out at you and every head you cut off he moves faster and faster! (It is possible to kill him with just one bomb) Once you have defeated him go up and get your newest piece of Triforce!

Back to the Overworld:

Now that you have the raft you can get the 4th heart piece. See Heart Containers at top!

From Level 3 - left 1, up 1, right 2, up 2
From Start - up 1, left 2, up 2

First go left and kill all of the bats in the room for a key. Now return to the original room and go up. Kill the blue creatures and then go right to get the compass. (Use the candle in here so you can see!) Then go back to the left and up, get the key then take the door left and then up. Get the key and then continue on your upward path. Now go right, kill all of the monsters in here and then continue right. Kill all of the blobs and the Like-Likes (The tube things that eat your magic shield) then push the block on the left to show the stairs to the ladder! The ladder makes it so you can walk over small places where you cannot normally walk, like a small patch of water. Now go two rooms left and then up one room. In here go right and get the map and then return to this room once finished. Now go up. In here is the boss from the last level. Kill him the same way as before and go up, through the room with the old man and get the key from the next room with the bats. Go right. This room is full of moving spikes so becareful! Go down, kill all of the monsters in this room and push the block on the left. Now you are at the boss Gleeok. To defeat him you have to cut off all of his heads with your sword, watch out because each head fires at you, even when you gut them off! Now get your heart container and go retrieve your forth piece of Triforce!

Back to the Overworld:

Now that you have the ladder you can get the last heart container. If you have 12 heart containers you can now get the magical sword, which makes the next level a lot easier. (See how to above at the top of this walkthrough)

From Level 4 - down 1, right 1, up 1, right 2, up 2, right 3, up 1, left 1, up 4

Start by going into the room on the right. Using your sword clear the enemies and collect the key the return to the left. Now take the doorway heading up, light up the room using the candle then clear the mummies, get the key then take out a bomb and bomb on the bottom left side of that red blockage in the middle of the room. Go through the doorway you just opened up and kill all the mummies in this room. Now bomb the left wall of this room as well and go inside. Here kill all of the blue knights once they are destroyed push the block farthest on the left. Now take the stairs once you come up on the other side of the stairs go left. Destroy all of the knights in here as well then push the block in the middle of the room left to reveal another set of stairs. Destroying the knights can be one of the most frustrating and difficult things in the game. If you are having problems leave the dungeon and get the magical sword and the blue ring. These 2 items make the knights ten times easier. Once down the stairs you find the flute. The flute will open up some hidden levels and it also makes it easier to travel around the world. Go back up the stairs and back to the room on the left. Now unlock the door going down get the key and then bomb the right wall. If you have 100 rupees you can pay to carry more bombs. This becomes very useful later on in the game so if you have the money I highly reconmend it. Now go back to the left and then up again. Take the stairs back to where you first met the blue knights then go right twice. Back to where you first bombed the wall. Kill all of the mummies in here and then go up. Ignore the Dodongos for now and take the door going right. Then go past the blobs go up once then past the mummies and go up again. In this room there are much easier red knights. Destroy them and you got yourself the compass. Continue up. In this room collect the key and then go into the room on the left. Kill all of the bunnies in here and then go left to meet the boss!

This boss is fairly easy. To destroy it play your flute, when it becomes small hit it with your sword until it is destroyed. Collect your heart piece and the 5th piece of the Triforce.

From Level 5 - down 1, left 3, down 1, left 2, down 1, left 1 up 1, left 2, down 1, left 1, up 1

Start off by taking the door on the right. In this room you will meet the new most annoying enemy, Wizrobe. They are easy to kill just hard to avoid. Kill them all off and collect the key they give you. Go back to the room on the left and unlock the door. Go through then go up. Kill the blobs in here for a compus and continue upward. Avoid all of the magic balls being shot and you and destroy all of the bats. Once you are finished a key will appear collect it and continue up. Avoid the moving spikes and continue upward again. In this room destroy all of the enemies and then push the block on the left. Continue upwards get through the maze of wizards in here then continue up. You should reconize this boss from a few levels ago. Defeat him like before then continue to the right. Destroy all of the enemies in this room to recieve a map. First take the door that goes up. Destroy the enemies in here then push the block on the left to reveal a set of stairs. These stairs take you to the magic wand. Now return to the previous room by taking the door going down. Now take the door on the right. Get the key in here and then return to the left. Now unlock the door going downwards and enter the room. Get the key and then continue down again. In here destroy all of the blue creatures to open the door to the right then go that way. This room has another bunch of wizards and like-likes destroy them all and then push the block in the middle to reveal a set of stairs. Take the stairs and then when you come up use the door going down. Kill all of the enemies in here to reveal a key. Collect it and then go to the room on the left. Now go take the room going up to meet the boss.

The boss this level is Gohma. To defeat her you need to shoot her eye with an arrow. Complete this easy task and you got yourself another piece of triforce and another heart! Back to the Overworld:

Now it's time for Level 7. Before you go you need to get the meat. This can be bought at the same store as the Blue Ring for 60 rupees. Purchase it then head onwards.

From Level 6 - down 1, left 1, down 1, left 1, down 2, right 2, up 2

To enter Level 7 play your flute and the door will appear.

First take the door going up. Now room by room go all of the way right until you get to a room with skeletons and a key. Grab the key and head back four rooms to the left, where you originally entered. Now bomb the wall at the top so you can go up. If you need bombs you get some for destroying all of the monsters in this room. Destroy all of the monsters in this room then go upwards. Deestroy all of the *suprise* blue boomerang throwers and bats and continue upward still. Now you will see the boss from Level 5 feel free to destroy him if you like then bomb the right wall and enter into the next room. You will see a fireball snake, destroy it with your sword and collect the key that is left behind. Now go left 2 rooms and open the door going upward. This is where you need the meat. Give the moblin the meat and then take the door going upward. Use a key and go to the room on the right. Destory all of the blue boomerang guys and take the door that opens upward. And suprise yet another boomerang room, destroy all of them in this room and take the door that opens to the right. Collect the key, kill the boomerangers and head back to the left. Now go down one room and bomb the right wall in this room. Kill all of the boomerangers and then push the far left block to give you access to the stairs. They takes you to the red candle. The red candle is like the blue candle, except the red can be used more than once in a room. Now once you go back up the stairs bomb the right wall in this room and exit through there. Unlock the door on the right, inside kill yet another one of the bosses from Level 5 and then take the door that opens upward. Ignore the Dodongos and bomb the right wall. Once inside destroy all of the blue hands, once they are gone push the middle block of the smaller end to reveal a set of stairs. Once you are through the stairs take care of any boomerang baddies in the room that may get in your way and then bomb the wall on the right side to meet the boss.

This boss you may remember from a previous dungeon. Kill him using your sword or bow and arrow. Then collect your heart container and your 7th piece of Triforce!

From Level 7 - down 1, right 2, down 1, right 3, down 1, right 4, up 2, right 2, down 1
From Start - right 4, up 2, right 2, down 1

To open level 8 burn the lone bush that is out of place using the candle. Now you are in Level 8, time to get that last piece of Triforce.

First go left and beat the 4 headed boss from level 4. Now continue left and in this room kill all of the monsters. Once you've done that push the left most block so that you can go down the stairs. Here you will find a spell book. The spell book increases your wands magic powers. Once you get back up the stairs go back to rooms to the right and now go right again. Get the key in here then return to the room on the left. Now take the door way going upward. The 4 headed monster is in this room as well quickly defeat it and then bomb the upward wall. Go through the opening and in this room destroy all of the blue knights. Once they are gone a key will appear. Collect it and take the door going upward. Again take the door going upward. You are now, yet again, in another room full of blue knights. These one you do not need to destroy yet but it makes bombing the upward wall easier. In this room you will again find a four headed monster. Destroy it to collect the map. Then bomb the wall on the left, go through it collect the rupees and take the door going upwards. Kill the bunnies if you need to and when you are done bomb the wall on the right. Once you enter you will find Gohma, the boss from the last level, again. Destroy her and then take the door going right. In this room kill all of the enemies and once they are destroyed push the block farthest on the left and take the stairs. You found the Lion's Head Key, you now can unlock any locked door.

Once you get back up the stairs return to the door on the left and then take the door going downward. Go down one more time until you are in a room full of Blue Knights, bad news you gotta kill them this time. Once you have accomplished this task take the door going right and go down the stairs in this room. Once you come up destroy all of the bunnies and then go through the door that opens. Now take the door going up. In the old mans room bomb the right wall and go inside. You made it to the boss!

This is the same boss as a previous level, cut off his four heads using your sword. Once he is dead collect your heart container and the final piece of Triforce! It is time to fight Ganon!

From Level 8 - up 1, left 5, up 2, left 1, up 1, left 2
From Start - right 1, up 5, left 1, up 2, left 2

You must have gotten all 8 pieces of the Triforce to enter, if you dont have them go back and find the ones you missed! Bomb the right side of the left rock to find the entrence of the final level. Start by going up 2 rooms and bomb the left wall. Kill the snake things in here and push the left most block so you can go down the stairs. Once you come up on the other side go through the locked door going right. Go through the darkened room and go through the door on the right. In this room take the door going downward. Destroy the little blobs in here if you wish than take the door downward again. Now kill all of the monsters in this room and then bomb the right wall. Ignore the monsters in here and bomb the wall going up. Kill the bug monster in here by killing off all of the little bugs that surround it and then kill the bug in the center. Once it is defeated bomb the wall going up and go inside. Kill all of the enemies in here and then bomb the top wall again. Kill all of the enemies in here and then push the left most block and go down the stairs to get your red ring. It is like the blue ring except you only take 1/3rd the amount of damage. Once you are back up the stairs go down 3, left 1, up 2 and kill the bug enemy that is here. Once he is defeated take the locked door going up. In the old man's room bomb the left wall and go though. Defeat the enemies in the room and then push the left brick. Go down the stairs that appear. Once you are on the other side go left 2 times. Defeat the bug in here and take these stairs. Once you are on the other side bomb the upper wall. Defeat the enemies in here and then push in the middle block on the small side. Go down the stairs that appear to get the silver arrows. These arrows are NEEDED to kill Ganon, so without them he cannont be beaten.

Once you are back up the stairs go down and take the stairs. Once you are on the other side take the door going upward. Kill the like-likes or avoid them and continue going up. In the next room continue going up. In this room bomb the left wall and go inside. Now kill all of the monsters in here and then push the left block to make the set of stairs appear. Take the stairs and once on the other side bomb the left wall go through clear the monsters and then take these stairs. Once you emerge you have yet another bug creature to destroy but it is your last one. Once he is dead take the door going up and you are at Ganon!

Once you enter Link will hold up the Triforce of Wisdom making Ganon visable, when he turns invisable you have to swipe around with your sword until you hit him. Keep on swiping until he turns brown when he does you have to shoot him with a silver arrow. This kills him. Pick up the Triforce of Power that he drops and procede into the next room. Using the silver arrows shoot the flames blocking your from Zelda. Once they are gone go up to her. You saved the Princess and beat the game good job! If you think you are up to it you can now try the next quest!
