Super Mario 64

Introduction

Bowser is at it again in the first game made for the Nintendo 64. As always, the big, bad Koopa has kidnapped the Princess and is holding her hostage, trying to lure Mario into his evil domain to crush him like a bug-sized plumber with a new 3D look. Throughout Peach's castle are dozens of paintings, most of which are actually portals into the many different lands of the Mushroom Kingdom. With 15 huge levels, bonus levels, new characters and moves, Super Mario 64 raised the bar of video gaming. As the first released N64 game, SM64 set the standard for the hundred and fifty or so N64 games to follow in the next several years. Now that GameCube has been released, we see the Nintendo follows a trend of breaking the rules, breaking the records, and blowing the competition out of the water. You need to travel across deserts, swim through oceans, explore mountains, ride magic carpets, and more to collect over a hundred magic Stars that are used to open new doors. Bowser is waiting for you, and I'm here to help. Good luck!
