Banjo-Kazooie

Introduction

Banjo-Kazooie, being a platform game, is meant to be played at your own speed. You can go different places and do things out of order without losing any aspect of the game. In accordance with this, I've designed this walk-through not to lead you by the hand everywhere, but to show you where the items are and how to get them so that you can retrieve them in whatever fashion you'd like.

All directions (left, right, farthest from, etc.) are in correlation from the starting point of the level. Jiggies that are easy to get are marked as "1-" whereas difficult Jiggies are "1+". Jinjos are fairly easy to find, but I noted where the more cleverly hidden ones are. As I can't possibly tell you where each and every of the 900 notes are, let me give you this advice for finding them all: -Did you look in Mumbo's hut? -Did you search the edges of the area not easily accessible: lava, hot sand, acid pools, deep water, etc.? -Did you look in areas only accessible in an animal form? -Did you look in "timed" areas such as mazes to make sure notes weren't missed in the rush to beat the time? -Did you break all huts, block, and/or walls? With those in mind, and the items provided below, you shouldn't have any trouble beating BK with all 100 Jiggy Pieces and 900 Music Notes. Good luck!

First Jiggy Piece:
In Grunty's Lair entrance, after crossing the wooden bridge, go to the left and climp the steps. At the top is your first Jiggy Piece. Use it to complete the puzzle that shows Mumbo's Mountain. Now you're ready to begin!

Mumbo's Mountain

Jiggy Pieces:
1- It's in plain view on a stone platform on the far side of the level, near the Talon Trot molehill.
2- A little monkey is screaming for an orange. Climb the tree that the big ape sits atop to retrieve your tasty barter. Feed the monkey and he'll reward you.
3- Have Conga (the big ape) throw oranges at the orange squares in the ground. Stand on the square, then move away before the fruit hits you.
4-After learning the egg shoot, go to the tree stump platform nearby and shoot Conga with eggs.
5- Back flip into the eye socket of Mumbo's hut.
6- Look for the spinning totem pole in front of Mumbo's hut. Shoot eggs into each mouth to destroy it. (read the second honeycomb piece)
7- Turn into a termite and climb to the very top of the nest.
8- Use the Beak Buster to stomp down the six huts surrounding the totem pole.
9- Using the Talon Trot, run up the side of the slope to the right of the starting point. It's near the top.
10- JINJOS! All the Jinjos are in plain view except for the green one, which is hidden under one of the six huts to stomp on.

Honeycomb Pieces:
First: Turn into a termite, then climb down the mountain below the termite hill. It's in an alcove just above the water.
Second: Remember the stone totem poles that needed to be destroyed for a puzzle piece? Before destroying the last part of the pole, jump on top. Back flip straight up to get the honeycomb.

Gruntilda Stomp Switch:
When you learn the Talon Trot, run/jump up the circular wood formations by Bottle's hill and Conga. It's on the last one.
Jiggy: Turn into a termite and get ready to climb. It sits atop the level entrance for Mumbo's Mountain.

Treasure Trove Cove

Jiggy Pieces:
1- Talk to the pirate on the ship. He's lost his two gold stashes. Stomp on the hole in the deck to get into the ship. Dive to find the first stash of gold, then go outside the ship and look for a window on one side, next to the water. Bust inside and swim for the second gold stash, then return both stashes to the pirate for your handsome reward.
2- After learning how to use the flight pad, swoop straight up to the top of the level or fly underneath the mountain to look for a stairway hidden in an alcove. Go to the top of the lighthouse by using the platforms.
3- Look for the huge crab just left of the start. Poke his eyes with Kazooie's beak attack three times. After the crab retreats, enter its shell.
4- Find the leaky bucket on a ledge near the molehill where you learn about shock jump pads. Plop some eggs (hold Z and press down C) into the bucket so he can drain the lake for you. Enter the sandcastle and spell out the word BANJOKAZOOIE on the floor using the beak buster. Kill the crab and take the jiggy piece in the back of the building.
5- Starting on the opposite side of the start point (follow the island to the right, past the shock jump pads, then across the walkways and up the pillar), use the beak buster to stomp the large red X's on the ground. After you stomp one, the next will appear. After stomping five X's, the sixth will appear on an island. Stomp that X to make a golden treasure chest appear, destroy it, and take the puzzle piece.
6- Using the green shock pads, jump to reach an alcove next to the mountain, or fly there.
7- Fly into an alcove underneath the mountain where a chomping treasure chest lies. Back flip into it.
8- Swim to the bottom of the highest and largest lake, watch out for the mine!
9- On the far left side of the island there are platforms leading up to a green alcove. It is faster to fly there, but the platforms aren't hard to jump across.
10- JINJOS! All the Jinjos are in plain view, except for the blue one, which is underwater. Dive under the dock where the start-point is, but be quick or Chomper will make a snack out of you.

Honeycomb Pieces:
First: Fly out over the ocean near the green jump pads. It's right above a floating box.
Second: It's deep under water, in the corner walls to the right of the snail shell.

Gruntilda Stomp Switch:
At the very top of the level, behind the white light house.
Jiggy: Back flip onto the cannon of the boat across from the Treasure Trove Cove entrance. It rests on the ship's deck.

Clanker's Cavern

Jiggy Pieces:
1- Look for a green hole behind Clanker's rear fin. Swim through it to find an alcove crawling with mutated crabs. Destroy them all to get your prize.
2- After Clanker's freed, stand on the screw in his blowhole, it will lift you to a platform. Follow the thin path to a small alcove containing the piece.
3- After Clanker is freed walk up the rear fin. It leads to a small platform. Jump and hit the grate to open the alcove.
4- After freeing the shark, stand on the floating platforms near his head to shoot out his gold teeth. Swim in the holes created in his glamorous smile to get inside.
5- After meeting Bottles inside the shark, at the back of his stomach, go back further into the opening. Use your newly acquired invulnerability to run through the high-speed blades.
6- Jump down Clanker's blowhole when the screw is in the air. Run past the Witch Switch to the end where you'll find your golden joy.
7- Towards the back of the cavern, on the right side, is a pipe that leads to a dead-end. The Jiggy is at the end of the pipe, so be sure to swim fast and watch your air.
8+ Flawless swimming is required to get this puzzle piece: Dive under the shark and look for a chain. Follow that chain all the way down and look for a gold key. Swim through the big hole three times to free Clanker. To survive that long underwater, follow Gloop, the fish that blows out air bubbles and swim through the bubbles for more oxygen. Don't be in too much of a hurry or you might over-shoot, but don't waste time either.
9+ The first time you enter the shark's belly there will be a series of blue rings. Go through the green ring to start the timer, now hurry through the other rings as they turn green. (hint: it's faster to swim underwater than to paddle on the surface)
10- JINJOS! The orange Jinjo is hidden in a pipe on the right side above the water. It has music notes on its slanted side, and a metal grate on the flat portion. Stomp the grate to save the Jinjo. The pink Jinjo is on the right side of the shark's stomach. Follow the little side path and look down. The others are all either in plain view or underwater.

Honeycomb Pieces:
First: Look for an odd pipe at the surface near Clanker's left fin. Swim under the pipe and look up to find it.
Second: Stand on the back of the fish and look for the pipe where the orange Jinjo is hidden. To the left of that is a shorter pipe- stand on top of it and stomp the metal grate to get the piece.

Gruntilda Stomp Switch:
Jump into Clanker's blowhole after he shoots the screw into the air.
Jiggy: Near the Puzzle Picture for Treasure Trove Cove and Clanker's Cavern there is a large picture of Grunty on the floor. Stomp on her eyes to receive your prize.

Bubblegloop Swamp

Jiggy Pieces:
1-After crossing the small swamp, jump across the green log to the brown platforms. Hit the switch to start a timer. Use the Talon Trot to run up the thin green ledges to the puzzle piece. This may take practice.
2- Fight the six gold frogs that jump out of the island covered in tree stumps.
3- Find the pink egg on the left side of the level (in the area between the entrance and the alligator head). Use various attacks to break the egg five times. (note: before breaking it the last time, jump on top and back flip up to a one-up).
4- Use the beak buster to stomp the large turtle's cold feet.
5- After stomping the turtle's feet, go in its mouth. Mimic Tip-Tup's tunes by stomping on the note turtles in the correct order. Three tunes wins you a prize.
6- Look for the five crocs that pop up throughout the level and shoot eggs into their mouths. You'll find the first croc to your left at the start.
7- Use the beak buster to stomp all six huts in the farthest part of the level (farthest from the start).
8+ The bad camera angles make this one harder than it should be. In the swamp maze, before you get to Mumbo's hut, there is an opening leading to a ledge with a switch. Hit the switch and make your way across the way-to-small ledge in between you and a Jiggy. You only have ten seconds, but hurrying will most likely result in failure. It's better to be too slow than to fall into the piranha-infested waters.
9+ Inside the giant alligator head is a mini-game. Challenge Mr. Vile, the red croc, to a game. Not only does he make the rules but he wins the ties, so always keep a nice lead. First game: chomp more red Yumblies than Mr. Vile (press B to eat a Yumblie when you are near it). Second game: eat more red Yumblies but avoid the yellow ones- they make you freeze-up for a second. Third game: eat the color Yumblie that is indicated at the top of the screen. Eating the wrong color will result in a freeze-up. You will need the sprint shoes (learned in Gobi's Valley) to finish this game. Tips: stay in the middle area of the arena so you have access to more Yumblies. Keep moving, you're more likely to get them if you go after them than if you wait for them to come to you. It's always easy to get ahead if you eat Yumblies right before Mr. Vile does. That way you gain some and he gets nothing.
10- JINJOS! Use the alligator form to easily get the pink and orange Jinjos who are in the swampy waters. You have to climb a cattail to get the blue one, and the rest are in plain sight.

Honeycomb Pieces:
First: Go into the big turtle's shell. Stand on top of Tip-Tup's podium and do a back flip.
Second: Go inside Mumbo's hut and jump up to the circular ledge. It's in the middle of the circle, so play with your view until you can see it.

Gruntilda Stomp Switch:
Switch: In the area where Banjo and Kazooie have to jump on top of the huts, it's underneath the third hut.
Jiggy: Look for a doorway-shaped brick wall near the entrance to Gobi's Valley. Beak barge it, hit the switch, and jump into the gold pot in the center of the preceding room.

Freezeezy Peak

Jiggy Pieces:
1- Jump into the giant snowman's pipe by climbing up his scarf in the back. Jump from the scarf to the nose, and then into the pipe.
2- Find the sled atop the giant snowman's scarf (near the green shock pad). Hop on and ride it down the scarf-ramp onto Boggy's stomach.
3- Notice how the giant snowman's buttons look suspiciously like targets? That's because they are. Beak-bomb each one to reveal a Jiggy on the snowman's hat.
4- Grab three presents for Boggy's greedy kids. Find the first one inside the big Christmas tree- climb the stump to get inside. The second one is in front of the giant snowman on his scarf. The third is on a little snow-covered island in the far back-left corner.
5- After curing Boggy's stomach ache, turn into the walrus and challenge him to a race. It shouldn't be hard to beat this slow old bear, but don't get too cocky, he'll be back later.
6- After finishing the race as the walrus, backtrack a little ways to Wozza and his cave. He's afraid of smelly bears, but he'll give a nice walrus a nice gift.
7+ This is a three step process: First, stomp on the present in front of the big tree. Little Twinklie lights will come out, and they need help getting to the tree. Stomp on the heads of the green Twinklie Monsters as they appear. Don't worry about every light, they won't all make it, but try your best to get as many as possible in the short amount of time. Second, after the lights have made it safely to the tree, go around back behind the tree and shoot the switch. A timer will begin. Now the third, and tricky part. Run as fast as your little buddies will go to the stash of presents. Use the flight pad to fly back towards the tree. Fly through the golden star atop the tree three times. It's small, and the view can get very awkward, so don't waste time.
8+ This isn't very hard unless your energy is low and you have bad aim. Using the beak-bomb kill all the snowball-hurling snowmen by hitting the X's on their black hats.
9+ Boggy Returns: for the second race against Boggy you'll need the sprint shoes. It's the same course as before, but this time Boggy goes a lot faster, and your camera is very uncooperative. Adding to that bad view is Boggy who has a great knack at getting in your way at crucial moments in the race. Try to get an early lead and keep it. Touching the ice water or missing a gate will result in losing the race, so perfectionism is a must.
10- JINJOS! The pink Jinjo is on the presents, the blue one is on the giant snowman's broomstick. The orange Jinjo is in Wozza's cave (you need to be Banjo and Kazooie to get it, so go back after you've gotten the Jiggy from Wozza). Yellow is right above Mumbo in his hut, and the green one is on top of a house.

Honeycomb Pieces:
First: The Snowman in the water by Mumbo's hut leaves it behind when you kill him.
Second: Enter Wozza's cave as the walrus and go through the tiny waterway. It leads to another room with the honeycomb piece.

Gruntilda Stomp Switch:
Switch: Beak-bomb the Snowman near the Christmas tree to uncover the ugly hag's switch.
Jiggy: At the level exit for Freezeezy Peak, jump up the platforms to a switch. Smash it and use the sprint shoes to run to a flying disc (make sure the cobwebs are gone). Fly back to the snow room and find the Jiggy at the top of the building.

Gobi's Valley

Jiggy Pieces:
1- In the far right hand corner of the level is a magic carpet that will take you to a little island. There you'll find a trapped camel named Gobi. Stomp on the stake holding him down and he'll fun free, leaving you a handsome reward.
2- After freeing Gobi, go back to the start point where a withered old tree is whining about being thirsty. Stomp on Gobi's back and he'll spit water into the tree.
3- Climb to the top of the pyramid on the right side of the level. Hit the switch on the top and then run down the side into the opening in the front. Inside you'll have to match tiles by stomping on them. You have unlimited time but there's a not-so-friendly zombie in there too. Use a gold feather to get rid of him.
4- In the far left corner of the level is a mummified hand displaying his prized Jiggy piece. Use the sprint shoes to the far right and grab it out of his hand before he has time to pull it under ground.
5- Fly through the gold ring held up by the dog near the sphinx. A series of other rings will appear, and fly through all of them. Though the "ancient ones" promise to destroy Grunty, they'll give you a Jiggy instead.
6+ Jump from the top of the dog sphinx to the platforms in front of his face. Shoot eggs into each of his nostrils to open a door. Jump on the magic carpet and shoot the dogs on the wall. The carpet will rise, jump to the next one. Repeat this process until the Jiggy at the top is found. Don't forget to grab the orange Jinjo inside.
7+ The key to this puzzle is staying calm. Stomp on the switch in front of the pyramid at the far center of the level. The top will open up, grab the sprint shoes and dash up the sides of the pyramid. Follow each ledge around and up the ramps until you get to the top. Ignore the tempting Mumbo pieces and one-up because you don't have enough time right now. Once inside, swim to the Jiggy piece to empty the water into the canyon outside.
8+ This piece is very easy to get if you've already filled the canyon with water. Look for a platform in the water that is in front of a dog-shaped statue. Shoot eggs into the mouth of the statue to make it sink into the wall and another appear on a different side. Repeat the process with the other two statues to make a pyramid rise out of the flat plain in the center of the level. Inside the pyramid is a maze. I'll try to explain the path, but you should be able to get it yourself. Try and follow this: At the beginning of the maze, go right. Take the path left (up) and then go left again (to the left). This path will wind right (up), then make a U-turn and turn right. You should be heading towards the left side of the screen- follow it all the way to the outer wall where you'll turn right (going up). Follow this path as it turns right, then turn right again (down). Follow to the right and then make the first left (up), then left again (going left), then go straight up. This path will go to the left of the screen, then up and to the right, where the finish is. Be sure to grab the pink Jinjo in the finishing room.
9+ The trouble with this piece is that it requires a quick landing and a dash to the opening in the pyramid. Also, make sure that Kazooie has plenty of eggs handy. While flying, beak-bomb the target above the pyramid on the left side of the level. Quickly stomp to the ground (you'll lose a few honeycomb pieces, but oh well) and run down the side of the pyramid and into the opening. Inside, feed the brown basket eggs to make a snake shoot out of the larger basket. Climb up the snake, (or jump on top before he shoots out) to get to the Jiggy high up in the air.
10- JINJOS! As I said before, the orange Jinjo is in the sphinx and the pink Jinjo is in the maze area. The yellow one can be found behind the start point blending into the bright sand. The blue Jinjo is at the bottom of the canyon that fills with water, and the green one can be found in an alcove behind the pyramid on the right side of the level.

Honeycomb Pieces:
First: Behind the pyramid to the far right is a switch. Stomp on it to make the piece appear in a cactus. Fly through the cactus to pick it up.
Second: After you make Gobi (the camel) feed the tree water, he'll be back by a large door (a mysterious door). Look for a magic carpet to ride near the dog sphinx. Take it to the small area where Gobi and the door are. Stomp on Gobi again to make him pay up.

Gruntilda Stomp Switch:
Switch: After you run through the pyramid maze, but before you exit the room at the end, turn back into the maze and backtrack a little ways to find the switch. It's on the right hand side at the very top of the maze, on the opposite side of the wall from where the finish is.
Jiggy: Use the green shock pad rotating around the pot to jump into the coffin.

Mad Monster Mansion

Jiggy Pieces:
1- After visiting Mumbo and turning into the pumpkin, dive into the well in the upper right corner of the level. The Jiggy is in the bucket.
2- Past the haunted house is a smaller shack with light shinning out of the holes in the ceiling and walls. Go inside to play a mini-game. Jump on the clear platform and move it around the room to spell out BANJOKAZOOIE in the limited time. Watch out for the ghost flying around the room.
3- Look around the graveyard for gold pots. Plop an egg into each one until it says "thank you" and flowers pop up. Fill every pot to get a Jiggy.
4- A little skill is required for this one, but it's still pretty easy. Head for the church entrance. Using talon trot jump on the headstone to the right of the door, and then onto the roof. Look for a platform near the church tower and go in the opening on the other side of it. Use the shock pad to catapult yourself up to a pole, then climb to the top of the weather vein
5- From the start of the level, go to the right of the haunted house and circle all the way around it. You'll go down a few stairs and see a wooden plank, which you should probably stomp on. After going through the opening you'll be in the cellar. Smash in all of the kegs to find the gold piece.
6+ The puzzle isn't hard, it's getting to the puzzle that is tricky. Just right of the house is a stomp switch with sprint shoes nearby. Stomp the switch, grab the shoes, jump over the wall, and run like mad to the church before the door closes. Make sure that you've already kicked down the gate leading into the churchyard, or you'll be stuck outside of it. Once inside go all the way to the front of the church where the organ is. Hop from the stool to the keys, and then up to the music stand to meet Mystro, a music loving ghost hand. Repeat his song by stomping on the keys in the same order that he does. Easy, eh?
7+ Climb to the roof of the haunted house and jump down the chimney. That will take you to the fireplace on the first floor. Walking across the wooden floor will wake the ghost, so jump from chair to chair to get to the table. Walk through the ghoul to get the Jiggy before he wakes up.
8+ Climb to the roof and break open a window on the right side. A toilet should be inside. Go to Mumbo's to turn into a pumpkin. Just in front of the house is a small hole in the stone wall that leads to a closed portion of the maze. Go up the ramp and follow the hedge to another ramp that goes to the roof. From there go back to the bathroom and jump down the toilet.
9+ While on the roof as a pumpkin, jump down the storm-drain in the lower right corner. The hard part is getting onto the roof, see number 8+.
10- JINJOS! The green Jinjo is on the roof of the haunted house, you'll see him on your way to completing number 7+. The yellow one is on the top of Grunty's bed, you'll need to brake a window to get into that room. The pink Jinjo is hiding in one of the kegs in the cellar, and the orange Jinjo is in the far corner of the maze. The blue one is on a platform in the swampy waters to the right of the haunted house.

Honeycomb Pieces:
First: This takes two parts- take Banjo and Kazooie up onto the roof of the house. Brake a window on the left side and go into the room. It should have holes in the floor. Come back as the pumpkin, going up the ramp in the hedges that leads to the roof. The honeycomb piece lies under the floor.
Second: When inside the church, look for a flight pad to the left of the organ pipes. Fly up to the rafters where the other piece is hidden.

Gruntilda Stomp Switch:
Switch: In the church, fly up to the rafters near the roof. The plank closest to the front of the church (where the organ is) holds the switch.
Jiggy: Repeat the process for the witch Jiggy in Freezeezy Peak, but instead of flying back to the snow room, dive bomb the glass eye in the witch statue.

Rusty Bucket Bay

Jiggy Pieces:
1- On the left side of the boat a TNT box is suspended in the air. Jump on it and climb the rope to the top of the crane. Climb down the ladder to the side of the crane and beak barge the red down arrow (hold Z, press B). Climb back up the crane and drop into the new hole in the deck. Down there you'll find the Box Boss. Destroy him (and all the boxes that merge from him) by either beak bombing, rat-a-tat tatting, or the easiest way: gold feathers.
2- Look around for a six digit number on a white sign (312-111). Now go to the left side of the boat (the front) and play that tune on the three horn switches.
3- Swim under the front of the boat to find a dolphin trapped under an anchor. He'll ask for help, so swim through the hole where the anchor chain goes. Inside, hit a switch at the end of the hall to free him.
4- Go to the yellow crane on the left side of the boat, near the front. Beak barge the red up arrow to raise a cage. Now hurry back up the crane and down the rope to snag the Jiggy before the cage goes back down.
5- This one is easy- just use ladders and walkways to climb to the top of the front smoke stack. Watch out for the creatures that jump out of the walls to knock you off ledges.
6- On the left side of the level is a building that has an opening near the water surface. Inside you'll find a series of boxes. Climb to the top and get your prize.
7- Look for portholes on the ships deck that are colored differently from the rest. The room you're looking for is near the front of the ship, on the side closest to the cranes. Smash the window and hop in. You should be in the Captain's room where there is a wooden cabinet. Smash the cabinet and grab the Jiggy, but watch out for surprise attacks.
8+ First, jump down a pipe near the rear of the ship and stomp the switch that will slow down the fans in the engine room. Go to the engine room by smashing in a door at the bottom of the smokestack on the right. Run across the rotating walkways when they stop moving, and carefully make your way towards the fans. Make sure your camera is in a good position before you move on. Now, when the fans slow, jump through them. They will speed up if you wait to long, and if you hit them you'll be knocked into the abyss below. Don't make mistakes.
9+ To the left and right of the fans in the engine room are switches that will slow the propellers. After stomping both of them, quickly get out of the engine room and make your way to the back of the boat. Dive into the water and grab the Jiggy behind the propellers before they start up again, or before you run out of air. You're very short for time, and the air leaves you very quickly.
10+ JINJOS! The Jinjos in this level are harder to get because the water takes so much air, even if you're not diving. The yellow Jinjo is on a buoy in the left bottom corner of the level. The orange one is on a ledge in the far right, upper corner. The green one is in a pit of toxic waste in the upper left corner, and the blue one is in the middle blue crate at the back center of the level. Jump in a hole in the top of the crate to get him. The pink one is by far the hardest, because he is underwater and the camera is hard to maneuver. To the right of the start is a grate where you can see the Jinjo below. Jump into the water and go through the small opening in the grate. Dive further to pick up the Jinjo and swim like mad to get out of the water. Just reaching the surface won't save you, you need to be all the way out.

Honeycomb Pieces:
First: Go inside and down the right chimneystack. Above the entrance to the engine room is a small alcove.
Second: Remember the buoy with the yellow Jinjo? Just to the right of it, underneath the shark-infested waters, is a hole to another room. Stomp the switch and fly up to grab it.

Gruntilda Stomp Switch:
Switch: Climb to the top of the yellow crane on the right. Go to the edge and look out to the left, you'll see it. Now get a little running start, jump towards the switch, wait a second to get distance, and then press A to open your wings and float to it. If you open up too early you'll fall short, so this may take a couple attempts.
Jiggy: Swim back to the aqua-ice room and get the puzzle piece on a platform next to the water's edge.

Click Clock Wood

Room Switches:
Spring: Right behind the start of the level.
Summer: In the Spring room, in front of the squirrel's house.
Fall: In the Summer room, by the big tree, in the dried up lake close to the flower.
Winter: In the Fall room, in front of the bird's nest.

Jiggy Pieces:
1- In the Spring room, go up the tree to the Eagle's nest. Crack the egg open. In the Summer room collect five caterpillars and feed them to the baby eagle. Fall- feed him ten, and in Winter visit the Eagle for your reward.
2- In the Winter room, fly all the way to the top of the tree. Find a ledge that has a shriveled-up plant holding the puzzle piece.
3- In the Summer room, look for a beaver in the dried up water. Stomp the rock in front of his house and return in Fall to claim your prize.
4- In the Summer room, go up and look inside the partially built tree house. You can jump to it now, or come back in Fall and walk across the finished floor.
5- In the Spring room, look for a fenced in barren field of dirt. Perfect place to grow a flower, don't you think? Drop eggs into a hole in the middle of the field until a flower pops up. Return to the field in Summer and Gobi will be there. Stomp on his back to make him water the flower. Do the same in the Fall room. Now go to Mumbo's hut and turn into the bee. Fly to the top of the flower to get the Jiggy.
6+ In the Summer room, jump into the opening in the top of the wasp hive. Stand on the protected puzzle piece and get ready to fight. Either fend off the wasps by attacking them or using gold feathers. After they have all been destroyed you can have your golden joy.
7+ In Fall, talk to the squirrel in his room. He needs acorns, which is fine because they're all nearby. Grab the first one in his bedroom, then leave his room and go up a walkway to the left. Smash the window at the end of the walkway and get the acorn there. The others are all in plain view on the walkways near the squirrel's house. One is floating in mid-air and seems hard to get. Stand on the left side of the circle, facing the right. If you aim correctly, you should be able to grab the acorn and then land on the ramp below.
8+ In the Summer room, climb up the tree past the wooden platforms that require you to back flip from one to the next. There is a wooden door, smash it in and look for the Jiggy inside.
9+ In Summer, start going up the tree. Before you go up the steep ramp that leads the rest of the way up, keep going to the right. Jump up the trail of leaves until you see a platform. Kill the bird without falling off and then get your Jiggy piece.
10+ JINJOS! The yellow Jinjo is in the Summer room hiding in the bright yellow brush to the right of the start, on the other side of the wall. The blue Jinjo is in the Winter room right by the start. The orange Jinjo is in Fall atop a pile of leaves near the flower. In Spring, transform into the bee and fly to the top of the tree. You'll see the green Jinjo in one of the dangerous plants. The bee can easily get him. Then go into the wasps nest to get the pink one.

Honeycomb Pieces:
First: In Winter, go to the squirrel's house by flying. Dive bomb the window above his door and go in.
Second: This piece can only be found in Winter after destroying the rock blocking the beaver's home. Find a hole in the ice and quickly swim back to the beaver's house.

Gruntilda Stomp Switch:
Switch: In Winter, there is a snowman on a ledge guarding the switch. From the Winter entrance, fly around the tree to the right, he is close to the ground.
Jiggy: Turn into a bee, exit the level, and fly to the center tree with the level entrance at the bottom. At the top of the tree is a small alcove with your golden treat.

Grunty's Furnace Fun

After collecting 765 notes you'll have the chance to face Gruntilda in her ultimate battle of the wits. This can be done without even entering Click Clock Wood! However, that would be a bad idea because this game requires you to summon all your knowledge about Banjo-Kazooie's worlds in a trivia board game. As you hit each square, Grunty will serve up a trivia question or a challenge to face. Answer right to move to the next square; answer wrong and you'll be losing a honeycomb piece. Make it to the other side to win the freedom of your annoying kid-sister Tooty.

The Categories:
(In order of easiest to hardest)
The Joker (White): These are the best squares. It's worth trying to hit as many as possible. Answer the question right to get two cards that let you skip over other spaces.
Banjo-Kazooie (Blue): Here Gruntilda will ask a standard trivia question from the game; from the name of characters to the items found in the levels and everything in between.
The "Eye See" (Orange): Here Grunty will show you a part of a level or a character from the game. Just guess the level or the characters name and you're set. The catch? She picks these crazy camera angels and close-ups. Examples: The wall in Bubblegloop Swamp, the underside of Clanker, Bottles.
The Witch (Purple): Remember when the good witch Brentilda told you to write down all those tidbits about her sister? Well these questions are based on that gossip. The answers change from game to game so take notes each time. It shouldn't be a hard square if you paid attention.
Notes (Green): Hope you didn't play this game with the sound turned down. These questions require you to identify music from a level or various sound effects for both characters and items.
Timed Battle (Pink): Grunty will choose one of the mimi-games and give you a time limit to beat it. Some of the games are twisted, like spelling BANJOKAZOOIE backwards in the sand castle. Try to skip these squares if you can.
Skull O' Death (Red): These are random trivia questions. The questions aren't that tough, but it's instant death for you if your answer is wrong. Only people who know the game inside and out should tackle these, unless you have plenty of lives to spare.

Gruntilda's Final Showdown

Part One:
Grunty's first attack is flying towards you on her broomstick. Dodge her reckless flying and then attack her with Kazooie when she stalls. She'll shoot a fireball at you so be on the lookout. Repeat this three more times and she'll shoot a white homing missle at you. You can't avoid this one, so use your gold feathers to prevent damage. She'll drop a honeycomb piece.
Part Two:
For Grunty's next attack, she'll fly out of the arena and repeatedly throw fireballs at you. Look for patterns in the pauses. Hide behind the walls until she stops and then shoot three eggs at her, all of which will cause her to comically say "OWCH!". Very funny. Grunty will then move to another side of the arena and do the same thing. After four egg-shooting attacks, Gruntilda will fire off another homing missile and then drop another honeycomb. If you run low on eggs, pick them up around the sides of the arena, they reappear fairly quickly.
Part Three:
Bottles is kind enough to provide you with a flight pad for this next part. Take to the air and beak bomb Grunty while she flies around throwing fireballs. You can either dive at her from the front, when she stops flying, or while she's throwing fireballs. When she throws fireballs she stops completely. After each attack she'll throw more fireballs and fly faster. A total of four dive-bomb attacks and she'll drop another honeycomb.
Part Four:
Now Grunty, coward as she is, will hide behind a protective shield. Four Jinjo statues will rise out of the ground, so run to them. Avoid the flying fireball attacks as you shoot three eggs into each hole on the Jinjo statue. When you unlock a statue that Jinjo will fly up and smack Grunty's ugly mug. Go Jinjos! The fourth Jinjo will break her broomstick and she'll land on one of the ledges. Whoops. Now a giant Jinjo statue will come out of the center of the arena. Fill each of his holes (why are you laughing?) with six eggs. Once a hole is filled it will close. Be careful though, because Grunty is still throwing fireballs and homing missiles. After you fill all four holes the stone will break off, revealing the Jinjonator (who, of course, is the blue Jinjo). He'll knock that nasty witch off of the tower and…well, you'll see.
Ending:
If you have all 100 Jiggies you can see previews of the secrets that will be unlocked in Banjo-Tooie, the sequel. Fair warning: the secrets shown at the end of BK have not yet been discovered in BT. The greatest hackers in the world have been unable to crack the codes and Rare has not commented about it. Many people believe that Stop'n'Swap (the method of transferring secrets from BT to BK and back) does not exist, but just as many believe that it does. No conclusive evidence points to either side. If any information breaks about this secret, we'll be the first to tell you.

Cheats and Codes

Cheato Pages:
You must bring Cheato his pages in order for these to work. Enter them in the sandcastle in Treasure Trove Cove.

BLUEEGGS: Left of the puzzle picture for Freezeezy Peak is a pipe blocked by a boulder. Break the boulder and return as the alligator to get the cheat "BLUEEGGS" which will allow you to hold 100 eggs.
REDFEATHERS: In the same red-lava room where the puzzle picture for Gobi's Valley is, there's a Brentilda. Behind this nice witch is a small hole. Go through the hole as the pumpkin to get "REDFEATHERS" which will allow you to hold 100 red feathers.
"GOLDFEATHERS": After getting the Witch Switch puzzle piece from Rusty Bucket Bay, break the grate on the wall behind it. At the top is a water switch. Hit it and swim to the cavern with the entrance to Rusty Bucket Bay. Before time runs out, go to an alcove only accessible when the water's high to learn "GOLDFEATHERS", which allows you to carry 20 gold feathers.
