Bye Bye Competition, Hello Conformity

Well, here is my semi-weekly editorial. This week our topic of discussion is how Nintendo's competition will be easily eliminated and gaming will be the same on almost every platform. You might say, "Yeah, I know the GameCube is superior to the others." But that is not really what is going to be the reason for the competition to be removed. The reason infact is 3rd Party devlopers and PS2's and X-Box' lack of original games.

My reasoning is that even Squaresoft who refused for the longest time since the N64 to develop for Nintendo is even starting to change their minds. The reason? Because to make good online games you have to appear on all 3 systems. With that said what if 3rd party developers start developing the same games for all 3 systems? All that leaves to make a system original is pretty much how the controller feels and 1st and 2nd party games. Nintendo is very much secure in that catagory with mascots such as Mario, Link, Pokemon and the others the idea of "Online Games" will only perpetuate the GameCube's success.

So what do you think? I want to throw together a editorial on what people think about the subject. Send me an e-mail on what you think and I will include your comments in my next editorial!
