Mailbag 12/07

Hooray! It is the second edition of mailbag (the first real one with questions that have been sent in). If you want your question to be in the next edition of mailbag send your e-mail to mailbag@nintendointense.4t.com or just use the mailbag link on the navigation bar. If you do not want your name included please say so in your e-mail.

Q: What does the staff think of GC? What about GBA? Do you guys like the games that are availible so far, and which ones do you all own? - Matt
A: Banjoman: I think Nintendo GameCube, along with being the latest and greatest in video game technology, is going to be one of the longer living game systems. Some systems have a very short lifespan, but I think NGC will be around for quite a while.

(I don't have GBA, so I won't comment on it. I have niether of the systems and therefore no games...so again, no comment)

Conkerrulz: So Far I think the GC is great. I have only played it in the store but it is killer. I dont own a GBA and have never played one so I dont have a real view of it but it looks cool. I like the games so far for them. I dont own any for those two systems though.

PCM: I own the GC and I love it. I have played my one game over and over and I am still amazed by the graphics each time I play it. As well the sound is a phenomenal improvement over what the 64 could do I can't wait to get my hands on more games!! As for the GBA I can't really respond. But Spinal and Alchemon (though they didn't contribute to the post) love the GBA and Spinal is out playin Smash Bros on the GCN right now if that is any indication of how good that is.

Q: Is there anyway I can contribute to the site? Can we send in fanart or stories based on games? - Anne Recksic
A: The biggest way to contribute to the site is by sending in letters. If you want to send in fanart and stories I will open up a section for it!

Q: my frends told me that their was this kool thing in jet force gemyni, but i cant fin it can you help me.
A: This may come as a suprise to you but there is a lot of cool things in JFG. If you have specific problems on a game e-mail the mailbag again and I will see what the staff can tell you on the next mailbag. Otherwise I believe Patser has a walkthrough for this game once he sends it to me and once I translate it a little I will have it up for you.

Q: Is this site related to any other site? Are there any affiliates? - Interested
A: As of right now, no. But as the site grows we will be looking for more and more affiliates and if someone is interested in affiliating with our site there is a specific link for that up in the top left.

Q: How come there aren't many game reviews yet?
A: Guessing that each system (except virtual boy) had more than a few hundred games there is no way we are going to cover them all. We are going to hit what we can find in our collections and new releases first. If you think NI should review a specific game send the mailbag a message and we will see what we can do.

Q: How old is this site, I haven't seen it before. Who started it or runs it? - John S.
A: This site was started in June (15th I believe) of 2001 and so it is relatively new. I, PCM, started the site and fellow posters at a message board came together to give you Nintendo Intense. We have survived the summer (our hardest time in my opinion) and we hope to be around for quite some time.

Q: Is there a lot of staff? Who are they really and what kind of stuff do they do in their spare time?
A: There are 6 of us total. Yet again I only got responses from 2 others so here they are:

Banjoman: My real name is Tony Nelson and I'm a highschool junior in Gilbert, Arizona. I spend most of my time writing and performing music as a member of the Gilbert High School Marching Band and Drumline. Currently I am the front ensemble section leader. I also enjoy video games, with an emphasis on Rare games such as Banjo-Kazooie, Perfect Dark, GoldenEye, and Conker's BFD.

PCM: My Name is really Mike. I am the webmaster of Nintendo Intense and I am a senior in high school. Next year I am planning on going to school in Pittsburgh, PA.
