Donkey Kong:
He’s the leader of he bunch, and he says he trained real hard on some new moves to deal with kremlins and the other enemies.
Diddy Kong:
He’s the fast, brave and very helpful nephew of Donkey Kong.
Tiny Kong:
She uses her ponytail to whirl through the air, but she isn’t Dixie not at all.
Lanky Kong:
This funny looking monkey with his long hands are very helpfull when it comes too collect bananas.
Chunky Kong:
This is the big brother of Kiddie Kong, he is also very strong and uses his big body to bash kremlings and other creatures
Other Kongs
Professor Kong:
It’s Professor Cranky Kong for you from now on, if you have enough money you can buy some potions from him, you will need them too get further in the game
Funky Kong:
He can give you some extra firepower too shoot some ugly creatures. You also need some money too pay him before he will give you a weapon and some ammo.
Candy Kong:
Candy waits patient in her building, if you find her she will give you some musical instruments, this will help too open some doors and maybe for something else too.
Wrinkly Kong:
Donkey Kong’s Grandma who past away a little while a go, is still in the mood too help you
when you can’t get any further.
Other Characters:
King K. Rool:
This is what we expected from King K. Rool, he just can’t get enough of obstructing the
Kongs.
Snide:
A mysterious, crawling, litlle doublecrosser who dislikes Kremlins just as much as the Kongs. If you give him some blueprints of the machine that’s gonna destroy the island of the Kongs he will help you out to sabotage the Laser.
Troff ’n Scoff:
These two fat creatures are waiting in thier room until you feed them some bananas,
if you have enough you probably will face a huge boss.
K. Lumsy:
A huge kremblin with a weakness for Kongs, if you help him out of prison he will help you too defeat King K. Rool.
Banana Fairy:
A fairy who wants you to find her fairies, you can capture them with your camera and
if you captured them all she will give you a big surprise
Things to do in the game
- Find all the 200 missing bananas or even more
- Find all the blueprints
- Take a picture of all banana fairies
- Defeat some very difficult minigames
- Kick your friends arse in the multiplayer mode
- Unveil all 3 endings
OVERALL GAMEPLAY: The Kongs are very easy too handle and the movies aren’t too complicated, so you won’t
forget them quick. The only difficult part in the controls is the swimming part, in
almost every other game it is the same and in this game it isn’t. You are so used too
the
controls of the other games it makes this not easy too handle. The Kongs have some
great
moves that you can do very quickly without doing very difficult handlings.
GRAPHICS:
The graphics are really good, the worlds are huge and nicely detailed. You have too
play very much too learn all of the huge worlds in your head. The Kongs are well
detailed and they walk very realisticly. The bosses are huge and very nice too see,
if you want to see them again because they were so cool you can always see them in
the replay mode. There are some nice details in the game. After each world you’ve
entered there is a
movie to see they are very long and very nice too see (some can be very funny). The
only real problem is
the camera, sometimes you can’t even see were you’re walking, that is one
minus on the game.
SOUND: This isn’t so good, because almost every sound in the game are like the sounds of
Banjo-Kazooie, and also are like sounds in other levels, so almost all the songs are
the same. It has some of the old DK songs in it and which is nice, and the songs that
are with the minigames and the moves are also very good so that’s an advantage
over the other minus points.
REPLAY VALUE: You want to keep playing this game because it is very very hard too get every banana
in
the game, sometimes almost too hard. And once you have all of the bananas you keep
playing this game because of the huge and beautiful bosses. If you have some friends
than try the multiplayer that is a lot of fun, because all of the transportation
pads and secret passageway’s.
COMMENTS: Average game with sometimes too hard of minigames, that you sometimes think you will
toss the N64, with game and all, away. The bosses are very cool, so if you are cooled
down you should try to get the banana again.
